The essential power breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots
New York City is well-known as the business capital of the world. While the day-to-day is when much of the work is done, it’s often over out-of-office meals when serious business takes place. This listicle profiles some of the premier West Side restaurants to impress your clients over breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Cookshop (156 10th Avenue): This rustic Chelsea outpost features tons of natural light, outdoor dining, and an open kitchen. Known for its fresh-market inspired menu and homey feel, Cookshop is one of our favorite places for breakfast or brunch. Go with the Cookshop Breakfast Bowl for a light, energy-packed start to your day.
Foragers Table (300 West 22nd Street): For a more casual meet-up, book a table at this Chelsea breakfast locale. It focuses on regionally-sourced, organic ingredients, including cheeses, grass-fed meat, sustainable seafood, vegetables harvested from a Columbia County farm, and NYC-made goods. We recommend the egg and cheese sandwich on brioche made with free-range eggs and Vermont cheddar.
